Get involved!
Become a HERO Philanthropist this fall!
· If you are interested in becoming a philanthropist this fall, send an e-mail to herorecruitmentteam@gmail.com
· You can register online at www.ugaheros.org starting in August.
· The registration deadline will be September 17th.
· The UGA HERO kickoff will be on September 15th featuring Mark Richt.
What philanthropists do…
· Pledge to raise money for UGA HEROs cause.
· All philanthropists will be on a team with a team leader to help guide you along the way.
· You will have so much fun meeting new people, going to special events, and helping HERO children.
· You will be invited to the HERO Olympics and will spend the day with the children you helped! This is always a memorable and meaningful experience.
· After the HERO Olympics, there are more opportunities to get involved throughout the year!

Who?: All committee members
What?: The end of the year big meeting. It is going to be WOW!
When?: Wednesday, April 23rd at 6pm
Where?: Stanford 213
*Wear your committee t-shirt! The theme is “Athletes and Mathletes”
Featuring: Committee member of the semester awards, a tribute to Tierra Bardley, an awesome video featuring Stone Mountain with the kids, inspiration, and much more WOWness!

APRIL 19 & 20
Road Rules is a weekend when UGA HEROs takes canning on the road to various Kroger and Wal-Mart locations, usually around the Athens or Atlanta area. “Canning” is basically holding a bucket and asking people to make donations…

Envelope for money
What you need to know…
-
All the money you raise goes directly towards your personal fundraising goal.

Upon arrival, make sure to check in with a store manager. You may be asked to sign a solicitation policy.

We strongly encourage you to bring posters to display. Feel free to bring a table and chairs also.

Wear your HERO shirt.

Please turn in money to committee head or Courtney Fennell.

Make sure to wait for the next group to hand-off your equipment.
